freight 2, presents a continuous small collection of works by the artist dmcq. The exhibition consists of a selection of large and small format paintings produced between 2013 and the present. A number of these were  exhibited in Eastside Gallery, Belfast in 2019 and will be augmented by some recent and unseen works.

Themes of rhythm, dance, movement and a splash of colour are all explored as the paintings flow through a world of abstractness. Throughout, colour and shape are abundant. Shades cross, textures drag while colours overlap and merge, creating forms, which simply occupy and enhance the surrounding space.
